Croft Retail and Leisure Park joins forces with police thanks to mobile unit during half term

Merseyside Police and Croft Retail and Leisure Park have joined forces to give families an insight into the work the police carry out in the area.

Over the half term, Merseyside Police have used the popular shopping destination to set up a mobile police station to show children how their units work, switch on the blues and twos, and provide a platform for people to share concerns they may have in the local area.

The initiative is part of an ongoing partnership between The Croft and the Police to proactively support the wider community.

Tony Thompson, Centre Manager for The Croft Retail and Leisure, said: “As such an important part of our local community, we have a duty to use our destination as a force for good, as well as providing a huge choice of retail and leisure destinations for our community to enjoy.

“We’re delighted to partner with the police to use our area and provide our customers with face-to-face support from those serving Merseyside, and contribute towards a safer neighbourhood.

“We continue to work closely with Merseyside Police and look forward to further initiatives like this as the year progresses.”

The Croft Retail and Leisure Park is home to more than 40 stores and leisure destinations, culminating as one of the largest shopping destinations on the Wirral.

Croft Cub 2022 – Competition

We’re delighted to announce that the Croft Cub is back in our stores this Christmas 2022!

As he completes his Christmas shopping, we’ll be dropping clues about where he has been.

From 5th December to 16th December 2022, the Croft Cub will be visiting one store per day. Visit our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) every day – we’ll be giving away a voucher from the store that the Croft Cub visits every day. Just follow the instructions to enter, and, receive a bonus entry if you go into the selected store to find where he is!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Only one entry per person can be made. A bonus entry is added if a picture with the cub is submitted within the store on the day.
  2. Prize is 1x £50 from the selected stores for the first 11 days, and a £100 M&S voucher on the 16th December. One winner per day will be chosen
  3. Closing date is on the same day 2022 at 11:59pm. Entries made after this date and time will not be included.
  4. Entry is made by filling in the details requested on the Croft’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages – entries made elsewhere will not be accepted.
  5. Entrants must be 18 or over and must reside in the UK. Proof of age must be provided once winner is contacted. Winner will be contacted via social media on the day after the competition. If winner cannot provide proof of age, reply, or visit the Croft to receive the prize, then a winner will be redrawn.
  6. Winner must have entered correctly and guessed the correct store. Winner must be able to visit the Croft to collect the prize. The winner will be told where to collect the prize. The prize will not be available in the store and is co-ordinated separately by the Croft Management Team.
  7. Draw will be completed at random. No cash or prize alternative. The Croft Retail Park reserves the right to withdraw the prize and competition
  8. Announcement of the winner is to be made on the Croft’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages
